Had a great experience with Jason. I had car troubles where I couldn’t turn my car off because the keys were stuck in the ignition in the evening. He was fully booked at the time and He still took it out of his way to come help me. His great customer service was fantastic, and was very happy to help someone in need. I can't recommend Startamotive Sunbury highly enough. After a disappointing experience with a service at a local dealership, I had completely lost confidence. Thankfully, Jason and the team restored that trust. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and genuinely cared about getting my car back to the condition it should have been in. The service was professional, friendly, and transparent from start to finish. I can feel the difference! Couldn’t recommend Jason and his team highly enough. Jason is genuinely passionate about the industry and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He’s fantastic at explaining things simply and clearly, and always gives you plenty of options and ideas, explaining the pros and cons so you can make an informed decision. The whole team is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in their work. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can completely trust, but I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my vehicles here or recommend them to family and friends. Jason is a legend.  Dropped off my car in the morning, and was completed in the evening of the same day.  New spark plugs and coil packs, and a carbon cleaning on 2019 VW Golf.  This place is highly recommended for VWs…there were about 5 in the shop when I picked up my vehicle.  Jason communicated well throughout the day, texted me pictures of the worn plugs, and recommended other services before moving forward. Jason and his team were great to deal with when my car had issues. They worked very hard to find the issue in my car over multiple days and reassured me they would have the car fixed. They were able to and I appreciate his dedication to the service he provides and his ability to break down and explain what’s going on with the car to customers. Jason went above and beyond for me when I was struggling to sort out getting a pre-purchase inspection and a RWC for a car that was out in Woodend. Even offering to pick up and drop off the car from the owner for me. He made sure to squeeze me in for the RWC before a long weekend so I could get back on the road after my previous car had died. He was honest and upfront and I never felt like I was being taken for a ride.  The only downside is that he is located in Sunbury and I’m in Reservoir otherwise Startamotive would 1000% be my regular mechanic.
